Cattle ranch and beef delivery software

Sell your beef by the cut, the box and the share.

Take orders online, run your delivery days, ship to customers outside your area, and keep restaurant accounts in the same system. Your customers buy from your ranch, under your name.

DBP is online ordering and delivery software for cattle ranches that sell beef direct. Ranches use it to sell cuts, boxes and quarter, half or whole shares, deliver on their own routes or ship with ShipStation, and get paid in one account.

Ways to sell

Every way your customers buy beef.

Some customers want two ribeyes for the weekend. Others want half a steer in the freezer. Set up each one once and they all live in the same shop.

Cuts

List steaks, roasts, ground beef and specialty cuts with your own photos and descriptions. Customers add them to their next delivery or pickup.

Beef boxes

Sell a grilling box or a family box at a set price, with the contents listed so customers know exactly what’s inside.

Quarter, half and whole shares

Set up each share size as a fixed-price box that lists the cuts it includes. Customers order online and you schedule delivery or pickup once it’s processed.

Monthly beef box

Let customers subscribe to a box on a regular schedule. They can pause deliveries when the freezer is full instead of cancelling.

Restaurants and stores

Give wholesale accounts their own prices in the same system as your retail customers, on the same routes.

Pickup

Offer pickup at the ranch, a farmers market or a drop point alongside home delivery.

From order to doorstep

How an order moves through DBP.

The same steps every delivery day, whether the beef goes in your truck or in a shipping box.

Step 1

Take orders

Customers order on your web shop or the Mobile Shop App. An order deadline closes each delivery day so you know what to pull from the freezer.

Step 2

Plan the day

Group customers into delivery days by area, build routes, and print packing sheets for the cooler.

Step 3

Deliver or ship

Drivers follow the route in DBP Drive, and customers can get a text when their order is delivered. Orders outside your area go to ShipStation for labels and tracking.

Step 4

Get paid and sell again

Take credit card, debit card and ACH payments through DBPay. Then email customers based on what they bought, like everyone who ordered brisket last fall.

Your ranch, your name

Buyers want to know whose beef is in their freezer.

Supermarket ground beef can come from anywhere. Your customers are buying from one ranch, and your shop should say so.

  • Your own brand. Your logo, colors and photos across your web shop.
  • Your story on every product. Say how the cattle are raised, finished and processed, right where customers decide.
  • Local labels. Mark products as raised on your ranch or sourced from a neighbor you trust.

Sept – Dec

Freezer season starts early.

Holiday beef orders come in months ahead. Open preorders for shares and holiday roasts in the fall, set a pickup or delivery date, and email past buyers before your competitors do.
